Whether you're newly stationed at Hill Air Force Base or mid-PCS with an established ABA plan that needs to transfer, finding the right provider in a new place is one more thing on an already long list. We want to make this part easier.
Balance in Behavior is an authorized ABA therapy provider serving military families across Davis County and Northern Utah. We specialize in in-home ABA therapy for children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder — and we understand the unique pressures military family life places on everyone in the household, not just the child receiving services.
We Accept TRICARE
Balance in Behavior is a verified provider in the TRICARE network, which covers active duty families, retirees, and qualifying National Guard and Reserve members in Utah.
We also accept: Medicaid, United Healthcare, Optum, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Aetna.
If you're not sure what your plan covers, we'll help you figure it out.
About Our Approach
ABA therapy at Balance in Behavior isn't just about behavior management. We work with the whole family — helping parents understand their child's development, build confidence in day-to-day challenges, and feel genuinely supported, not just serviced.
Our clinical director, Heather Traeden, BCBA, brings years of experience working with military families navigating the specific demands of TRICARE authorization, service transitions, and the particular stress of parenting a child with complex needs while a spouse may be deployed or reassigned.
